Rock fort Ganpathi temple: The first and foremost place that should be on top of the bucket list for Trichy is Rock fort, Ganpati Temple. The stunning beauty is 5km away from Trichy railway station. The ancient fort has a huge rock in its major structure, considered the oldest rock in the world. Yes! Even older than the Himalayan mountains. The fort is home to three Hindu temples: the Manikka Vinayakar Temple, The Ucchi Pillaiyar Temple devoted to Lord Ganesha, and Thayumanavar Temple devoted to Lord shiva. Shri Ranga temple is dedicated mainly to Lord Vishnu and is one of the major Hindu temples of India. The architecture built with Dravidian style has unique intricate designs and sculptures enhancing its beauty. The temple has nearly 1000 pillars and the main royal temple tower. The temple is the largest functional temple in the world, Covering 156 acres of area. The temple has a total of 2q gopuram along with an ornate gateway which is the tallest gopuram in India. The Temple complex has several sculptures of Narad muni and Kashyapa. And intricate sculptures of Arunagirinathar and Arumugam on its pillars.

Railway Museum: The Railway heritage center, popularly known as the Railway Museum, is one of the most famous places to visit, especially with kids. The museum is open throughout the week from 3 to 7 pm except on Monday, located near the rail community hall, Trichy.
