Bodhgaya: Buddhist pilgrimage state is a UNESCO world heritage site. The busy places situated across River Phalgu have many historical sites and temples from different eras that reflect the successful Gupta and Maurya dynasty. RamChaura temple marks the footprints of Lord Rama, giving the significance of Hindus with the place. The tomb of Sher Shah Suri is popularly known as the “ Second Taj Mahal of India” and is one place to attract numerous tourists every year. The Marvel built-in Center of the lake is a three-story tall monument made with red sandstones. Kanwar Lake Bird Sanctuary: Kanwar lake bird sanctuary is home to various species of migrated birds located across India’s largest freshwater lake, Kanwar lake. Barabar Caves: Barabar caves located in Sultanpur are one of the ancient rock-cut caves of India built during the Mauryan Empire. These caves are believed to be used by Ajivika Sect. However, there are also traces of Jain and Buddhist artwork. Barabar caves are situated on twin hills, namely Barabar and Nagarujni. Barabar has four caves, and Nagarjuni has 3; all caves have intricate designs and are well polished with inscriptions over their ceilings and walls.
